Kenny, “Arrived from Liverpool, England May of 1979. I figured I'd stay for the summer…. The best laid plans of mice and Ken, so to speak…Attacked by Cupid somewhere in the Caribbean my resolve to leave the US melted. So I decided to stick around for a while.
Although heavily influenced by my hometown lads, "the Beatles" (and who wasn't!), my main musical inspiration to buy my first guitar (and sell my motor bikes) happened in 1967 after having seen the movie and hearing the acoustic songs of Simon & Garfunkel from the soundtrack of "The Graduate".
I played local folk clubs in Liverpool and lived in the South of France for a couple of years working on yachts and playing in bars. It was my yacht experience that brought me to the USA.
I have always been amazed with the process of song writing. It is something that I've never had to work at. Over the years thoughts/music just came out... I take no responsibility for what you may hear, blame some cosmic miscreant somewhere.
Music became an integral part of my life. My ambition now involves enjoying the creativity of music and sharing this experience with you. Who knows, maybe someday, later this millennium I’ll be playing the old people's home circuit in Florida. Possibly, get to meet some purple haired ex-hippy chicks...Depends! COO COO KA JOOB!”
